I used to be in marketing at some capacity, but I’ve taken a break to focus on my growing family. I miss using my professional strengths and wish I could still do both.

I have a network of potential clients. I have started doing a lot of stuff on the side of a more traditional career. I’m looking to grow my solo marketing business.

I just graduated college with a marketing or communications degree. I don’t see why I couldn’t do my own marketing business thing, with the technology I have at my fingertips and the information fresh in my mind.

I’m working at an advertising agency or with an in-house marketing team, and I’m loving every minute of it. Who needs more?

She’s the project manager of her household. She knows what’s going on, who’s doing it and where it’s being done at all moments of the day.

Everyone in the community knows her. She’s a social butterfly. People who she just meets come away feeling like they’ve known her — and that she has known them — for years.

Girl has ambitions. She’d wither under someone’s management and control. On her own, she’ll find success — and even more, happiness.

She’s a team player, always happy to jump in and help. She loves her her life - a good job and peeps she loves. What more could she ask for?

Anywhere I have internet connection.

A dedicated office space where I’m ready to get down to work the instant I step through the threshold.

All my favorite coffee shops.

Let’s talk communication and community. Which most closely resembles your desires?

I miss talking to adults other than my husband. If I could keep in touch on a regular basis with subcontractors who I manage, clients who I partner with and some key friends, I’d keep from going insane.

I spend a lot of time talking to people around my community, but I don’t have many people who I can talk with about my business woes, wins and worries.

I am constantly connected on social media and with my smartphone. I’d love to have people to turn to for business advice, though.

I want to keep my family and friends separate from my coworkers and clients. I enjoy having a group of people I see in an office every weekday, and I enjoy that I don’t have to talk to them on weekends if I don’t want to.

When you think about starting your own marketing business, your first thoughts are:

I need to do this for myself and my professional goals. But I’m not sure what all goes into starting and managing my own business…

It’s already pretty much started. I need help refining it, and I want guidance on how to make this a solid, full-time venture.

I’ve just learned a whole lot about marketing, and now I’m ready to put my knowledge into action. I need a guide for how to use my talents and how to get started. I know I can rock this!

Yeah, flexibility and control sound nice, but there’s a lot of responsibility in owning a company. I’m not sure about making all of those decisions alone.
